Behind the Camera

I'm a volunteer with

As our family enters the world of homeschooling it’s been fun having fellow homeschooling families as clients.  Back-to-school portraits were always something I dreaded growing up.  They are so institutional.  I think they’re still using the same backdrop from twenty years ago.  I asked this family to let each child bring something that told a mini-story about who he was.

It was really neat to see what each child (all seven!) brought and how each responded to the camera.

They are certainly a great bunch!
